Simplr Optimisation Configuration
Optimisation is achieved with the installation of advanced add-on modules that bring smart functionality to standard PV Solar panels, for improved energy efficiency (up to 25%), advanced monitoring, and improved safety on new or retrofit installations.
The Tigo TS4-A-O solar panel optimiser complies with NEC 2017 and 2020 690.12 Rapid Shutdown specifications when installed on each PV Solar panel and accompanied by the Tigo Access Point (TAP) and the Cloud Connect Advanced (CCA).
The UHD-Core technology and expanded specifications of the system, supports PV Solar panels up to 700W, and 15A. Module-level DC energy production data, as well as data from other Modbus connected devices, can be analysed via the Simplr RTDS (Real-time Data System) to ensure maximum system output is achieved 24/7.

Tigo Access Point (TAP)
The Tigo Access Point (TAP) wirelessly communicates with the TS4 solar panel optimiser units, allowing you to track and manage the energy data of your solar system at panel level. TAP has the additional feature of significantly improving the level of security through module level deactivation.
CCA Data Logger/ Comms Hub
The Cloud Connect Advanced (CCA) functions as the central communication hub, as well as a unit that logs data over the lifetime of your system. Current and historical data can be collected and enables valuable insight into your system.
